Fentress Architects will be presenting on the ”Integrated Design Process” they established with the Design Team (Martin/Martin & ME Engineers) and the Construction Team (Whiting-Turner) on the North Las Vegas City Hall project.
This is an excellent opportunity to see how an actual project was developed using best practices in IDP and BIM, and to learn how to apply these procedures to your practice.
This is a half-day conference that is reasonably priced, plus you can get a number of your AIA credits.

Presentation: This month will be a little different, GH Phipps has volunteered to give an overview of BIM and what National Standards have been implemented, this will only be about 30min of the meeting, see the what you will learn page for an outline. The rest of the time will be devoted to an open work session discussion about BIM Project Execution among everyone at the meeting including:
- How to Identify BIM Goals and Uses
- How to Design the BIM Project Execution Process
- How to Develop Information Exchanges
- How to Define Supporting Infrastructure for BIM Implementation
