Group has first presentation for AIA credit!
By Admin | June 1, 2009
The Denver Revit Users Group is proud to offer AIA credit for presentations now!
Each presentation is currently approved individually based on content and we will keep our website and group notices updated as we receive those approvals.
For each presentation, we ask that the presentor email us a list of 10 things the attendees will learn from the presentation. Presentors please email this information to Chris Lynch (chris@denverrevit.com) at least 2 weeks before your presentation. See this month’s presentation posting, click on the new “What you will learn…” link to find out specifics for each presentation. It is pretty open, currently there are no set objectives for any presentation, just tell us what the attendees will learn and the AIA will let us know if it is approved and for what type of credit.
Members that belong to the AIA, please bring your current AIA number with you to every meeting, as you will need to fill out the sign-in sheet the night of the meeting. We will submit your credits automatically the day after the meeting, and if you would like a certificate for the credit, we will email a PDF of those to you as well. We will add your AIA number to our membership records for future use to help streamline the AIA credit process.
For our other non-AIA members, please contact your steering committee representative to ask about trying to get approval for other Professional organizations that require learning credits.
